picking a new name

Help us select a new name for the club. First we will be known as the Barrie Triathlon Club or the Triathlon Club of Barrie. Gone will be the reference to "Kempenfelt".
Carlos, Mischele & I have spent some time reviewing a large list of names and we have narrowed it down to (1) The Barrie Bulldogs (2) The Barrie Carbon Trilliums and (3) the "adjective" Kellies, (ie: the fighting kellies).

    If wanting to stick with the "B" theme:
    Barrie Breakway Triathlon Club
    Barrie Believers
    Barrie Bishops (pawn)
    Barrie Blitz
    Barrie Buccaneers or Barbarians(in which case I can wear my eye patch left over from Penticton)
    Barrie Bobcats
    Barrie Ballistics
    Barrie Bandits
    ...
    Barrie Thrill Seekers
    Barrie Bad News

    I agree with Joanne on the names. Although I may only have the speed of a bulldog I prefer to dream faster!

    I deleted my first comment because I thought you were looking for names! Sorry. I just noticed you have four names to select from? I guess I missed putting in my thoughts on a name?

    But I will put my thoughts up anyway as I don't like any of the selection, no offence.

    I would like to vote for Scud, as in The Barrie Scuds Triathlon club. or BSTC

    Scud " To run or move along quickly"

    Or Barrie Selects Triathlon club.

    Select " To choose in preference to others"
